iPhone

Ok I’ve gone and bought myself an iPhone. Go on and leave hateful comments below I know they are coming.
Anyway moving on. So I got an iPhone 3GS after deciding my Nokia just wasn’t up to standard any more, it just didn’t have the breeding of the N95.
Naturally the first thing I done was jailbreak it with the online no computer jailbreakme.com ;)

After this features got better and better, and thanks to the people at Hackulo.us I’ve got access to the vast numbers of cracked apps saving me hundreds of pounds.
All in all it’s not a bad phone, the bad points are mainly that it’s Apple and that it doesn’t have a physical keyboard meaning texting whilst trying to be discreet is proving to be more difficult than I would like.
However the upside of the jailbreaking means that customising just got so much better.
I now have a theme that works on both iPod and iPhone which I will include links to later. It has wallpapers, sliders and customised texts and more. It works with both OS 3 and 4. I update it as I get stuff which I like better and I think it looks quite good.

Recently I’ve had quite a few nights out so I thought I would write a small bit about it.
First things first, this was my first week off work in a long time so if this doesn’t seem that big for you then tough.

———Thursday———
The best night out for ages started in Walkabout in the Center of Glasgow.
I met several new people from Stephen’s games course. I can’t be bothered mentioning them all here but it was good to finally meet some of them. The others… *shruggs shoulders*

I think the highlight of Walkabout was my jug-sized cocktails.

Feel free to use these recipies as long as you tell people where you got them ;)
Both recipies are for 2 pints (1 litre) worth although you can obviously scale these up or down depending on your needs. The second would make a nice fruit punch I think.

The first is called Sheep Dip and it is a speciality of Trattoria Guidi where I work.
To give you an idea about this, when I told the girl behind the bar the recipie she actually asked, “Are you sure this is legal?”
The ingrediants are as follows:
• 1 shot Vodka
• 1 shot Gin
• 1 shot Southern Comfort
• 1 shot Cointreau
• 1 shot blue Curacou (Blue Bols)
• 1 shot Melon Midori
• 1 bottle cider
• top the jug with lemonade
Add a straw and drink ;)

The second mixture I don’t have a name for, but I think ‘Fruit Bomb’ has potential as this drink could be lethal. You don’t actually taste the alcohol so you could drink it all night and not feel anything, but when you go to stand up then you will feel it.
It goes like this:
• 2 shots Peach Shnapps
• 2 shots Cointreau
• 2 shots Blue Coracou (blue Bols)
• and top the jug up with pinapple juice.

Ok when you first see these recipies you will think that they are either discusting or something similar. And yes they are both bright green, I seem to specialise in strange concoctions. Just ask about my (soft drink) Liquid Skittles ;)
As I was saying before the ‘Fruit Bomb’ was the most popular on the night, although both were liked by most.

After Walkabout we moved on to the Cathouse which was actually better than I thought it would be. Although, for me, this wasn’t as good. The cider was though :)
This is where most of my pictures were from and one of the videos. Both of which and more you can find on my Facebook account.

——–Saturday——-
On Saturday evening I went to a BBQ, at Stephen’s again.
And we were cooking an so far no fatalities :)
Again pictures can be found on my facebook. But to sum it up here was a lot of burnt food and even some Guitar Hero. And yes I know what you are thinking, good weather, realitively good food and we ended up bringing the tv and Wii outside.

My iPod

After much deliberating I finally jailbroke my iPod. And so far so good, everything is working fine and with Cydia and Installous I can get almost any app or feature I want :)
